This Privacy Policy explains how RankUp collects, uses, and shares information when you visit the site, click a listing, or pay for a ranking. It sits alongside our Terms of Service.

What We Collect
We keep the Service small. We collect only what we need to run the board, take payment, stop abuse, and understand traffic.
A random ID in an HTTP-only cookie (rankit-visitor-id), stored for up to one year. We use it to attach a checkout to a browser, limit duplicate click counts, and keep the board usable. It is not your name.
The URL you submit, the category, rank amount, and the public name, description, and image we resolve for that destination. Payment confirmation identifiers (order and checkout IDs) are stored so we can place the ranking.
Card details and billing identity are collected by Payment Gateway, not by us. Payment Gateway may send us confirmation that you paid and an amount. See Payment Gateway's own privacy notice for details.
When you visit a listing from the board, we may record the listing, a timestamp, the visitor ID, and a hashed IP address. The hash is for rate limiting and fake-click reduction, not to profile you.
Standard request data such as user agent, referrer, and IP address may be processed by our hosting infrastructure to operate and secure the Service.
If you email a notice, a category correction, or a privacy request, we keep that correspondence as needed to respond and to maintain a legal record.
Why We Use This Data
To take payment, create or raise a listing, show rank, and provide the Service you asked for.
To keep the board fair (rate limits, bot filtering), display public listing metadata, measure visits, debug outages, and defend legal claims. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests by contacting us.
To send any product digest or notification emails you explicitly asked for. You can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing or emailing us.
To keep tax, accounting, and complaint records where the law requires it.
Public Listings
Rank, spend amounts, names, images, descriptions, and destination links on the board are public. Anyone can see them, including search engines.
How Long We Keep It
- Visitor IDs Up to one year in the cookie, or until you clear cookies.
- Public Ranking Entries While the listing is on the board; may remain in backups for a limited time after a takedown.
- Payment Identifiers As long as needed for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, and dispute handling.
- Click Records & IP Hashes Only as long as useful for rate limiting, abuse prevention, and aggregate counts.
- Correspondence As long as needed to respond and maintain a legal record.
Your Rights
Depending on the privacy law applicable to you, you may have some or all of the following rights:
Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
Ask us to delete personal data we hold about you.
Request an export of personal data in a machine-readable format.
Ask us to restrict certain processing of your data.
Object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing.
To exercise any right, email shekhar3355@hotmail.com. We may need enough information to identify your data. Public listing content is not made private just by appearing on the board — you can ask us to remove the listing instead.
Children
The Service is for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has used the Service, contact us at shekhar3355@hotmail.com and we will delete the data we can identify.
Changes
We may update this policy when the Service or applicable law changes. The date at the top of this page reflects the current version. If a change is material, we will post the updated policy here. Continued use of the Service after the updated date means you have seen the change.
